alliteration
27 August, 2009
hello friends. at this moment, i’m sitting in my room in my new-ish home in greensboro, north carolina. my windows face the street, and i’m listening to the sound of the street sweeper sweeping the streets.
i’ve been laying low lately. i’ve spent most of august indoors during the day, recording or reading, and nights on porches. recording is progressing positively. things are shaping into a body of music that is coherent and hopefully beautiful and meaningful. i would really just settle for coherent though. if things continue moving at the present rate, i should be done tracking the album in a couple of weeks. i’m not sure how it will get released, but i’m working on those details.
simultaneously, i’m working on booking a winter tour for late december/ early january. i’m going to try to hit the south and midwest. i’ll post tentative dates soon, probably.
other than that, i continue to take classes, help run full spectrum records, and eat food that is terrible for me. just like normal.
Where can I hear your music? It was wonderful meeting you!
